The agricultural company «Kurganska» in Mykhailivka has been drying grain exclusively with pellet heat generators of Ukrainian production «AgroWarm» for several years. The enterprise operates three grain dryers, each equipped with modern solid-fuel systems.
According to the management, the transition from straw and diesel to wood pellets provided several immediate advantages — stability, cleanliness and savings. «Previously, we used up to three tons of straw per day, involving tractors and loaders. Now — 800 kilograms of pellets for 160 tons of sunflower», they note at the enterprise.

The operator explains that the heat generator reaches working temperature in 5–10 minutes, maintains it automatically and does not require constant intervention. «We clean it once per shift, 3–4 scoops of ash — and that’s all. No smoke, no smell, only clean heat», he says.
The management adds that installation and retrofitting are completed quickly — within three to four days. «We order the blueprints from AgroWarm, specialists arrive, launch the system — and everything works. The main thing is that afterward we never have to call them again. These units just don’t break».

Compared to diesel systems, pellet generators operate stably even in winter, are not affected by frost, produce no odor and ensure uniform drying. «For us the main things are economy, quality and safe working conditions for people. And this equipment provides all of that», the enterprise summarizes.
